All our plant operators hold the relevant CPCS qualifications, and many of our staff are on the Street Works Qualifications Register which enable them to work on the highway.

Our staff have been thoroughly vetted so you can be confident about hiring them to work on sensitive sites such as schools and MOD establishments.

We Take Our Responsibilities Seriously

Because of the nature of the work we do, it’s vital that every member of the BDS team is properly trained and highly skilled. We make use of several industry recognised schemes to ensure we can demonstrate this.

All BDS staff are CSCS certified, DBS checked and hold the relevant qualifications to meet site and highway legislation. Plant operatives have CPCS certificates and the majority of our workforce have got SWQR qualifications. With this in mind, you can be absolutely confident that the team working on your project have all the necessary skills.

As a company, BDS Yorkshire are CHAS registered and have gained a Certificate of Safety Policy Acceptance from East Riding Council. BDS is also a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and holds a Gold Certificate of Commitment to CSCS along with holding the ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.

We are also a member of the Federation of Small Businesses, The Quality Assurance Association and have gained a Skills Pledge Certificate from the Department of Innovations, Universities and Skills.
